Play Asia Confirms Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Will Not Be Localised

In a recent tweet by the games retailer, Play Asia, it was confirmed that Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 will not be having localised versions at all. This might seem like a disappointment to western fans, but the Asian version of the game will have English subtitles. The original tweet was to point out the reason why the game has no English localisation, which is, in their words, “due to #SJW nonsense”. It looks like the culture wars in gaming, culture wars propogated by sites like Kotaku, culminating in the creation of the #GamerGate pushback, is finally having a lasting effect on the gaming industry for the negative. Fans Already Create Nude Mod For Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round on PC

Browsing through the internet after enjoying some time with Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PC we stumbled across a nude mod for the game. The nude mod replaces one of the character Momiji’s textures with a topless version showing her full boob, aureola and all. We’re not sure if the creators of the game condone modding or not, but it’s interesting to see these things are coming out already. To get the mod to work players need to start the game with a piece of software acting in the middle that hooks into the game as it is running. It then replaces the texture with the nude mod. You can check out the details on this forum, where … Continue reading
