GAMING PR: Tricky Towers and Rebel Galaxy come to PlayStation Plus this August

The PlayStation Plus August line up has been announced. — PlayStation Australia is pleased to share the news of what is coming for PlayStation Plus members this August. First up on PS4, we haveTricky Towers, a new title from WeirdBeard Games. This physics-based action puzzler is at its best when you’re competing against friends, with local and online multiplayer for two to four players. As you compete to build your own precarious tower, rivalries will come to the surface as you cast spells to disrupt your opponents and try to make them lose balance and send their towers crashing down. Be warned, it’s ridiculously addictive fun and could turn friends against each other as the fast-paced rounds stack up. Also … Continue reading

Rainbow Moon Review (PS4)

Rainbow Moon is a well thought out love letter by SideQuest Studios to all things great about the old school RPG. In a world where the role playing genre of video games push the boundaries of gameplay and visuals, Rainbow Moon sticks with the simplistic, yet enduring gaming elements of years past. First released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and seeing a second release in in 2013 on the PlayStation Vita, this third release on the PlayStation 4 combines an easy to learn, yet tricky to master strategic combat system, quirky and bright visuals and a strong soundtrack makes Rainbow Moon a game worth checking out. Unfortunately, don’t expect the plot or characters to be spellbinding, an element that … Continue reading

Toukiden Kiwami Review

To see Omega Force to develop a game such as Toukiden is quite interesting. Despite their decorated history focusing on musou games such as Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and the recently enhanced port of Bladestorm, Omega Force dives into the action role playing genre. Toukiden: The Age of Demons was released in June 2013 in Japan and February 2014 in North America and Europe, exclusively for the Playstation Portable (in Japan) and the Playstation Vita. The game was a hit in Japan and an enhanced port, entitled Toukiden Kiwami was developed for the two Playstation handhelds as well as the Playstation 4 (only in the west). It can be safely said, then, that playing Toukiden Kiwami has been an enjoyable … Continue reading
