Gauntlet: Slayer Edition Review (PlayStation 4)

There is a rich history in the Gauntlet series. Starting way back in 1985 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, it’s a staple in hack and slash arcade gaming. Last year, Arrowhead Game Studios released an updated version/reimagining in 2014 for the PC. Now, the game has been re-released with new content and tweaks to the core gameplay, known as Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. Gaming PR: Mad Max “Choose Your Path” Interactive Trailer

A new trailer is available for the upcoming game Mad Max. You can check it out below:   Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the Mad Max “Choose Your Path” Interactive Trailer, allowing fans to decide on the different aspects of The Wasteland they’d like to experience. The trailer showcases multipath scenarios that the viewer can choose, such as “Bring the Chaos” and “Get Creative,” that highlight options a player will have when navigating the massive open world. Pre-order Mad Max and get The Ripper, a fully upgradable Magnum Opus car body. Developed by Avalanche Studios, Mad Max will be released on Sept. 2, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Dying Light (Xbox One) Review

Techland is a studio that is quickly proving itself to be ‘The’ studio for producing zombie games that are both interesting and fun. Dying Light is their latest entry into the genre, and it’s an entry that mixes zombies, RPG elements and zombies into a compelling story about the city of Harran after an outbreak. The title is published by WB Games here in Australia and is available on the PC, PS4 and XBOne platforms. In Dying Light, the players assume the role of the Player Character Kyle Crane. Earlier this weekend at the WB Games booth at EB Games Expo 2014 in Sydney we had the opportunity to meet with one of the developers of, and have a little bit of a hands-on session with one of the levels of, Dying Light. Gauntlet is one of those franchises that have echoed throughout the eons of gaming. Starting as an arcade title by Midway, the game saw a team of up to four players taking on the role of one of four archetypes to tackle a dungeon, or gauntlet, to battle through waves of enemies to ultimately reach some special gems.
